Setting up a Web-To-Lead Capture Form
You may get your leads in many ways from lists, referrals, and even a form on your website. Sugar has a built-in tool to assist you with collecting leads through forms called Web-to-Lead.
Set up a campaign to use to reference the leads you obtain from the web. This campaign ID is required for the form to function correctly. You can have many web-to-lead forms and use the same of unique campaign ids to distinguish them as you see fit.
Also set up a page to redirect your users to upon successful form submission. This will be something the wizard will ask you for.
Finally decide which of the fields on leads you want to include on the form (all required fields in sugar should be added to the form).
Now you are ready to use the wizard.
Follow the Sugar Application Guide for the Sugar edition that you are using and you’ll be on your way to collecting leads in no time.
